Frequently Asked Questions

Find clear answers to our most common questions — everything you need to know about our services, how we work, and how you can prepare for your visit.

What types of pests do you handle?

We offer services for a wide range of common and specialized pests including ants, cockroaches, spiders, rodents (rats & mice), termites, bed bugs, flies, mosquitoes and more.

Do you provide residential and commercial pest-control services?

Yes — our team covers both homes and business/industrial sites. We tailor the approach depending on the property type, risk factors, and regulatory requirements.

How soon can you come out to inspect or treat?

We aim to offer prompt response times. For urgent issues (e.g., rodents, termite signs) we prioritise same- or next-day visits where possible. For scheduled inspections, we’ll coordinate a time that suits you.

What happens during the inspection or treatment?

The technician will conduct a full inspection of the property (interior, exterior, roof/void, underfloor where applicable), identify pest entry points or harbourage areas, discuss findings, recommend treatment options, and proceed with agreed course of action.

Do I need to leave my property during treatment?

It depends on the type of treatment and property. For many standard treatments you may stay (while avoiding treated areas until safe). For more extensive treatments (e.g., termite baiting, major rodent proofing) we may ask that you vacate for a short period. We always provide instructions beforehand.

What makes your service different from other pest-control companies?

Our strengths include local knowledge of the Brisbane Valley region (climate/pest-species), rapid response, comprehensive inspection and proofing (not just treatments), and personalized service rather than one-size fits all.

How soon will I see results after treatment?

For many pests (ants, cockroaches, flies) you’ll often see immediate reduction after treatment but full resolution may take days to weeks depending on infestation size and species. For rodents/termites the process may be longer. We’ll provide you with expected timeline and what to monitor.

Can I continue using my garden, pool, patio, kids’ play area after treatment?

In most cases yes — once the treatment has dried and the technician has given the “all-clear”. We’ll advise you precisely for your property and treatment type.

What should I do before the technician arrives?
  • Clear access to all areas to be inspected (roof void, eaves, underfloor, around skirting)
  • Remove or cover food items in kitchens if required
  • Ensure pets are secured or removed from treatment areas.
  • Let us know if there are any special conditions (e.g., you’re pregnant, acid-sensitive surfaces, you have animals such as reptiles).
  • If anything of concern let the technician know, eg. Ants going up a wall, excessive cockroach problem.
  • Outside - Mow grass if possible, clear all paths, pick up any toys, tools, and turn over or cover any water sources like dog bowl.
